- How do I get to the guesthouse? How far away is it from Cusco?
Our packages and retreats include private transport from/Cusco. If you come as a residential guest and drive your own vehicle please consult our web page https://andeanspiritlodge.com/location/
There are collective taxis from Cusco to Limatambo for s/ 10-. From Limatambo you may get a private taxi taking you to our guesthouse in Pichuimarca for 15-20 soles. The journey takes about two hours from Cusco.
- What time is check in and what time is check-out?
Our check-in is from 3-00 pm. Check out is until midday.
- Do I get reception on my mobile phone?
You may be out of range for reception on your mobile phone or find that there are only certain points in our garden where you can get it. Leave our fixed phone number with your relatives and friends if you need to be contacted whilst staying with us. Please note that we cannot provide phone services for long-distance or international calls.
- Do you have Internet?
We have an internet connection and free WiFi for our guests in some areas in the main building. However, our connection is precarious at times due to the remoteness of the guesthouse.
- Are there any shops or restaurants nearby?
The nearest shops and restaurants are 10 km away in Limatambo town. This is the reason why we include dinner and breakfast in your room rate. Please make sure that you bring any medication and other items you might need throughout your stay.
- Do you have a laundry service?
Yes, we provide laundry services on request.
- Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, we cannot receive any pets as we have plenty of our own and we cannot risk having your pets fighting with ours.
- Do you have the services of a cafetería or bar?
Drinking water and teas are available throughout the day at no charge. You may order coffee at an extra cost. We also have a bar service (beers, wines and sparkling water).
- Can I cook my own meals?
No, there are no facilities to cook your own meals. We provide all meals.
1. Do you provide vegan and gluten-free meals?
Yes, we do. Please inform us when making your booking.
- Are omnivores welcome at the guesthouse?
Everybody is welcome at the guesthouse, but please bear in mind that all our food is 100% vegetarian. We have had many omnivores staying with us in the past and they were very happy with our meals.
- I am not into Yoga. Do I have to do Yoga in order to stay at the guesthouse?
Not at all, it is an optional activity.
- Can anyone assist a Yoga class? What are the requirements?
Some people need the permission of a doctor in order to practice Yoga if they suffer from any ailments. We also need to be informed of these. Otherwise, Yoga can be practiced by people of any age and no prior knowledge is necessary.
- Do you accept any volunteers?
We very occasionally accept paying volunteers. Please get in touch if you are interested.
